First of all, you have to head to the Apple menu and choose “System Preferences”, then move to “Accessibility”.Similarly, this setting is just known as the Mouse Keys, which permits a user just to control the onscreen cursor by using the number pad on an extended keyboard. You guys likely have a setting enabled in the accessibility options of OS X though that is stopping the numeric keypad from acting entirely as a means of typing numbers. Therefore, try both of those independently, & so then try to type numbers by using the numeric keypad again. You probably need to hit Shift+CLEAR rather, relying on your individual keyboard & settings. Though you guys are also able to achieve the same function by hitting the CLEAR button on the numeric keyboard.
